Welcome to the website of The Chicken. This site is, as the title claims, "without a point", although that phrase seems always to be redundant, because if a site's theme is to be, "without a point" then its point is to be, "without a point." Therefore, it does have a point, ruining the whole idea!
So, I will now write in this miniscule type, because for some reason this computer won't let me type in the font above after I start a new paragraph. Don't know why, but anyway. Yeah.
Getting back to the first paragraph. So, this website cannot be, without a point because as I have already shown, that is, frankly, impossible! So, I conclude, we will have to think up a new subtitle for The Chicken's website's header.
Maybe something like, The website without any recognizable or clearly defined point! That would be good.
The Chicken's First Harvest Moon Experience
The Chicken had heard that Harvest Moon was a fun game, so he decided to try HM A Wonderful Life for the Nintendo GameCube. He had also heard that it is very dependent on what you want and like. So, he named himself a name in the game that he thought was cool: Bionic Bunny. But, as he tried to put it in, he was frustrated because there wasn't enough room for all the letters to fit.
"It would be 'Bionic Bu...' and that would just be dumb" he thought, so he named himself instead, "Chicken", because he was too lazy to think up anything better.
Once he had finished naming himself, he walked around a bit in the game and got used to his surroundings. All of a sudden, he heard a loud GUU... from his stomach in the game. He remembered what he had heard about the game being what you like and what you feel like.
So, The Chicken carefully felt his stomach (in reality). But it wasn't grumbling, so he decided not to eat anything in the game. "Anyways" The Chicken thought. "I wouldn't want to eat weeds!" (Because that was of course all he had at this point, as he hadn't planted any crops yet)
We should be publishing more of The Chicken's Harvest Moon exploits shortly. wishdamume!
The Chicken's writers
Here are some of The Chicken's writer's bios. Enjoy.
David Beanboy is the founder of The Chicken's website, and writer of about half of the site's current content. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, video games, interviewing The Chicken, watching TV, going golfing, going skiing, eating ice cream, drinking hot chocolate, playing runescape, advertising The Chicken, testing his wishiness, eating blueberries, wishing da mume, and other things too.
Another David who works on The Chicken was born in 1992, and he very much enjoys good humor. He also enjoys video games, drawing, and Runescape! David is an adoring fan of The Chicken, and loves the idea of the entire thing. He has shown all his friends this wonderful site whenever he can. They always love it!
Donald Mume is a "Wish Da Mume" fanatic. He is 12 and really enjoys this website. He has written MOST of the wish da mume articles. He is a good friend of David Beanboy. He is a typical kid in the way that, of course, he likes video games. He definitely has a message he would like to say, wich is "Make sure to wish da mume". You can ask him about Wish da mume on his E-mail, wich he checks most of the time. Make sure to put on the subject "about wish da mume" and he will reply.
(Donald's email address is wishdamume@yahoo.com)
ArgetAdurna has been visiting The Chicken from its beginning, but just now has decided to become an article writer. He likes The Chicken because of its great stories and links. His hobbies are video games, reading Eragon, and playing his Nintendo DS.
Brisingr elf was the second writer for The Chicken ever. He likes playing Gamecube and DS in his spare time. He also likes reading Eragon. He was also in the first wave of Wish Da Mume recruits so he is very experienced. He is also the creator of The Cat website.
Thank you chicken writers! Without you this would not be possible (obviously).
We are shortly going to be posting a Chicken fan base page, where you can write an article about yourself and why you love The Chicken. If you would like to be featured as one of The Chicken's fans, please e-mail an article about yourself and why you love The Chicken to frodobaggins1992@yahoo.com. Thank you.
And remember, if you recently recieved a small card advertising The Chicken's website, don't forget that once you have added The Chicken to your favorites list, that you should pass the card along to another of your friends. So that they too, may keep the chain going and experience the wonder of The Chicken. Again, thanks.
